Brand New Material

The Walrus has been slugging out a resplendent array of new covers for the group once again displaying the versatility of this group of veteran performers. The new tunes include songs by Sheryl Crow, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd and Crowded House to name a few. The return to Bellingham’s Fairhaven Pub on Friday May 2nd proves to be an event that shouldn’t be missed. As Michael Jackson once said, “I’ll be there.”

    I love the new classic rock cover tunes that the Walrus is playing. Such a versatile band with great arrangements and harmonies! Mixed in with the classics the Walrus has been playing for so long, the brand new material makes for a fine evening.

    My sweetie, Chuck Dingee, has had his saxophone for about a year now, and can really wail on it for Steely Dan’s “Peg” and “Money” by Pink Floyd.
